What’s In Store With Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) 2010…?
Every company with commerical motor vehicles must be ready for the impact of CSA 2010. This new enforcement will change the way carriers and drivers are targeted and rated for enforcement, putting more scrutiny on safety records and compliance data.
The CSA 2010 safety measurement system will rate drivers and carriers on seven Behavior Analysis & Safety Improvement Categories (BASICs). Infractions in any of these areas will result in more contact with FMCSA. The goal of CSA 2010 is to reduce the number of crashes and associated injuries and fatalities, while making the most efficient use of FMCSA resources.
